The Ventura County Department of Airports acquired an Aircraft Rescue Firefighting (ARFF) truck that arrived at the Oxnard Airport today. The 2004 Oshkosh truck is a donation from Burbank Airport and replaces the Airports’ existing 2004 Titan truck that experienced mechanical failure in recent months.
ARFF trucks are specialized vehicles that serve as critical resources for the Airports for both onsite emergencies and mutual aid. The Airports are incredibly grateful to Burbank Airport for their partnership in securing the donation and ensuring quick access to the truck.
