Ventura County Department of Airports Welcomes Oklahoma State University Women’s Tennis Team

A Saab 2000 (similar to the one in the attached photo) will be flying into Oxnard Airport (OXR) on the morning of March 2nd and will depart early in the afternoon. The aircraft will return again on March 3rd and March 5th and will be piloted by Meregrass, a Texas-based charter company that frequently flies athletic teams to competitions throughout the country. This visit will focus on the Oklahoma State University women’s tennis team as they travel to California for matches against the University of California, Santa Barbara and Pepperdine University.

The use of Oxnard and Camarillo Airports for charter flights is an essential element of Ventura County’s transportation system, which supports many different missions every day. Oxnard Airport is an ideal choice for this type of mission, and we are delighted to welcome the Cowgirl Tennis team to Ventura County.
